Using this script, we scraped Country level data from Google’s Google’s COVID-19 Community Mobility Reports in order to map the change in dwell time spent at home for 128 countries.
Change in dwell time at home was calculated using anonymized Google Phone location data. A benchmark taken in early February 2020 was compared to data from late March 2020 to find the change in how much more time users were now spending at home because of Covid-19.
